Update about orders and Covid-19

PLEASE NOTE: Due to high volume, we have recently noticed significant delivery time delays, especially when choosing Canada Post (Free Shipping, Expedited Parcel, Xpresspost, Priority) UPS or Canpar. To ensure timely delivery of your order, we recommend choosing FedEx or Purolator as your shipping option on checkout. Delivery times are not guaranteed even when choosing alternative carriers as the current situation is affecting all shipping carriers to some degree. We thank you for your order, patience and understanding and hope you are staying safe. We continue to fulfill and ship orders daily.

As an update to evolving circumstances surrounding COVID-19, we would like to provide an update on additional steps we are taking to safeguard our employees and to ensure business continuity.

We are still here to get what you need. Filaments.ca operations continue, however fulfillment of some orders may take longer than usual. We recognize our special responsibility to remain operational as a critical part of the supply chain and are taking extensive and unique steps to operate as safely and as continual as we can.

Our office and warehouse are not accepting any non-critical visitors at this time. We are still accepting local pickup orders from our Mississauga warehouse, however we request that you please respect social distancing and follow the curbside pickup procedure which is now in place until further notice:

  1. If you prefer to pickup your order, please be sure to choose the pickup option on the checkout page:

  2. After placing your "Pick Up" order online, please wait for a second confirmation email stating that your order is ready to be picked up.
  3. Please have your order confirmation ready and call 1-888-536-5551 on arrival. We will place your order by the front door for you to pickup and maintain social distancing. Business hours are Mon-Thu, 10am to 5:30pm & Friday, 10am to 4pm. Closed on weekends and holidays.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during these difficult times. Please do your part with social distancing and BE SAFE! We will all get through this if we do our part!😊

    Our team remains vigilant in implementing enhanced cleaning procedures in common areas, door handles, stair rails, etc. 

    Special note about our temporary return policy update:

    Like others, our staff has been working extended hours and worked diligently to improve supply chain, keep up with surging demand and get shipments out to customers as soon as possible. As such, we will not accept returns during this time (Effective March 23,2020 until further notice / Covid-19 passes), including but not limited to over-purchase / overbuy returns or products purchased for projects that are no longer needed. Exchange due to errors will still be honored as usual. We reserve the right to investigate and resolve returns on a case by case basis.

    While it is important for us to communicate the steps that we are taking, this is a unique and unprecedented time for all of us. We remain diligently committed to our partnership with our customers to help make the world healthier and safer.
